What is Arran Alpacas?
WELCOME TO ARRAN ALPACAS!! We offer fun & engaging alpaca trekking & experiences from our glamping site on Arran.

All experiences include use of our play area, games room. We always have a wee alpaca craft on the go (for no extra cost)!

We are open March - October and treks run most Wednesdays & Saturdays.
Stay with us
ALPACA YOUR BAGS and extend your stay on our magical island! Arran Alpacas is based on our rustic and sustainable glamping site which was once a thriving farm.
AT BALMICHAEL GLAMPING, we have self-catering accommodations (barrel pods & safari lodges) suitable for all group sizes and budgets. Glam up your stay by selecting an option with a wood-fired hot tub, perfect for relaxing whilst watching the sun set off the west coast.
MAKE MEMORIES by getting involved in animal feeding sessions (included in your stay)!

How to Book
ALPACA TREKS are a brilliant way to spend some quality time and have some laughs with friends, family, and of course our alpacas!
TREK DAYS - Sat & Wed (March - October)
TREK TIMES - 11.30am (afternoon experiences available during peak season, on booking form if available)
PRICE:
- £20 per alpaca ( + 1 person aged 8 +)
- £25 per shared alpaca ( + 1 adult + 1 child under 8)
- £7.50 spectator/additional person coming along
Alpaca experiences must be pre-booked which you can do here. We regret we are unable to have people access our glamping site and working farm unless booked. This is for the health & safety of our visitors and animals.

Where we are
Arran Alpacas is based at Balmichael Glamping, 15 minutes drive from Brodick on The String road which connects the east and west of the island.
BY CAR:
We are approx. 7 miles from Brodick and 3 miles from Blackwaterfoot.
BY BUS:
Stagecoach buses operate along The String & pass the entrance to Arran Alpacas.
