ALPACA KIDS
(1.5hr experience) Recommended for ages up to 12
Thursdays & Saturdays at 11am - 12.30pm
WHATS INVOLVED?
All children will be provided with a cup of animal feed for the alpacas, sheep and ducks! (Remember to wash hands afterwards)!
Outside you can find alpaca facts & have fun at the play area & football pitch - a good opportunity to run off some steam!
Inside at ‘The Ben’ enjoy alpaca fibre crafting activity, making a picture to take home. The large barn (Old Mill Games Room) is open for indoor games such as table tennis & pool, table football & games.
Alpaca Kids can be booked with or without a mini alpaca trek - without is ideal for kids who are happy to feed animals & play!!
Complimentary refreshments of tea, coffee & diluting juice for all visitors in The Ben. Additional beverages, treats & Arran ice cream are available to purchase. There is a selection of local and alpaca-themed items in our little gift shop section too.
Alpaca Kids (With Mini Trek):
- 10-15 minute alpaca mini trek with photo opportunities
- All children under 8 must be assisted by an adult during the mini trek
- Trek time will be allocated on arrival
- Mini treks take place within the alpaca paddock
- Limited mini trek spaces per session so please book in advance
Alpaca Kids (Without Mini Trek) :
- Feed the alpacas, sheep & ducks
- Alpaca fibre craft
- Outdoor play area & indoor games room
BOOKING INFORMATION:
- Please book online - select with/without trek
- Alpaca Kids (with trek) - £15 per child (ages 2 - 16)
- Alpaca Kids (without trek) - £10 per child (ages 2 - 16)
- Adult Entry (all adults) - £5 per adult (includes cup of tea or coffee)
- Children under 8 require an adult to assist with trekking the alpaca
- Please wear suitable footwear for grass & dress for the weather!
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please ensure you are aware of the cancellation policy as part of the Terms & Conditions when a trek booking is made.
CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER:
Cancellation 2 weeks before experience date: refund less £10 admin fee OR reschedule trek to another available date OR voucher for full amount
Cancellation 2 weeks to 48hrs before experience: 50% refund
Cancellation within 48hrs or no-show: no refund
CANCELLATION BY ARRAN ALPACAS:
We reserve the right to cancel an experience in circumstances out with our control. Should this happen, a 100% refund will be given.
CANCELLATION DUE TO FERRIES:
If the ferries have affected your travel plans, we understand this is out with the control of both Arran Alpacas and yourself. You will have the option to reschedule your trek to another available date OR receive a voucher for the full amount.
